Bhawan: Legend

The belief is expressed that while leaving Vaishnavi left the Garbh Joon cave at Adhkawari and Bhairon Nath still chased her due to locating her whereabouts she began ascending uphill until she could reach to the Holy Cave. As Bhairon Nath was still chasing her and saw that she had been going under the cave he literally challenged her to stop. Looking at the situation she used her divine power and detached the head of Bhairon Nath from his body. The high flow and power of her sword was charismatic so much so that the detached head of Bhairon Nath fell on a nearby mountain located at a distance of almost one and half kilometers. It is the place where modern day Bhairon Temple is located. The torso of Bhairon Nath remained at the gate of the Holy Cave and can be witnessed in the form of a rock today.
